SUMMARY:Hospice of Light Tree Planting Ceremony
DESCRIPTION:Since Hospice of Light began in 1994\, a tree has been planted every year to honor the memory of past patients we have loved and served. This tradition happens each November\, which is recognized as National Hospice month\, to ensure that their families and friends know they will never be forgotten. \n\n\n\nWe invite friends and family of the deceased\, as well as the general public\, to participate in the tree planting ceremony at Singing River Gulfport Hospital and Pascagoula Hospital. This event welcomes our entire community. DESCRIPTION:In this FREE course\, we combine childbirth and breastfeeding classes for expectant parents.  \n\n\n\nFirst\, you will learn about the stages of labor\, delivery\, and recovery along with the different types of anesthesia available. You will learn about your newborn’s appearance\, general newborn care\, and safe sleep practices. Then\, we will cover breastfeeding basics—from what to expect to how to breastfeed your baby. The class concludes with a tour of the Labor & Delivery area of Pascagoula Hospital. \n\n\n\nSinging River’s Childbirth & Breastfeeding Classes are led by our caring and compassionate team of Labor & Delivery specialists and are the perfect opportunity to ask questions\, explore your childbirth options\, and prepare for your new role as parent. \n\n\n\nWe recommend that you plan to attend the course within the seventh month of your pregnancy.
