Biography
Kit Melton, MD is an Inpatient Physician providing the highest quality care for patients during their time in Singing River’s hospitals.
Dr. Melton graduated from East Texas Baptist University with a Bachelors of Science in Chemistry and Biology, continuing his medical education at the University of Texas – Houston Medical School. He then completed his residency at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.
Dr. Melton holds certifications in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced, Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation.
Outside of work, Dr. Melton’s hobbies include hunting, fishing, baseball, camping, and restoring classic cars.
