Visiting Hours
Visiting loved ones is an enriching part of the healing process for a patient, and it’s something we encourage.
Hospital Visiting Hours
Screening processes for visitors can change rapidly. Please refer to posted signage at entrances to any and all facilities for instructions.
Although, due to the continuing presence of COVID-19 cases in our community, we must request that anyone who is currently COVID-19 positive, has been in contact with someone who is COVID-19 positive or has a cold, sore throat, or other communicable condition does not enter any of our hospitals unless actively seeking care. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Hospital Visitation Guidelines:
- Visiting hours at each hospital are 8 am – 8:30 pm.
- Visitors must be 12 years or older.
- Number of visitors for outpatient procedures, including but not limited to surgeries, may be limited when volumes exceed our ability to maintain social distance.
- Emergency Room patients are limited to one visitor per patient at the discretion of the clinical staff and will be asked to stay in the patient’s room at all times. ER visitors may be asked to wait outside when social distancing in the lobby waiting area is not possible due to high volumes.
- All visitors are asked to help maintain a restful and safe healing environment.
- Due to the nature of the patient’s illness, physical or emotional condition, or preference, some visitors may be restricted or visits extended.
- Visitors to our Skilled Nursing Facilities and Comprehensive Rehabilitation Center, please contact 228-809-5000 for visitation information.
- Visitors to our Inpatient Behavioral Health Units, please refer to visitation information here.
Individual hours may be applicable in different departments such as ICU, Labor & Delivery, Skilled Nursing Facility, and Behavioral Health.
