Sleep Treatments

PAP Therapy
(Positive Airway Therapy)

CPAP or BiPAP machine is worn during sleep and blows a constant stream of air so the airways do not become obstructed or collapse during sleep, preventing cessation of breathing.

Counseling

In some cases of insomnia, patients will be referred to counseling as long term use of sleep aids are not recommended.

Medications

In cases of idiopathic hyper somnolence or narcolepsy, medication may be used to control the symptoms of sleepiness.

Sleep Hygiene Education

Receive education on how to get the best sleep.

Close Follow-Up

We provide close follow-up every six months to one year in order to ensure compliance with PAP therapy.

Innovative Sleep Apnea Treatments

Singing River is the only health system on the Mississippi Gulf Coast offering Inspire sleep apnea treatment system.

Inspire is an alternative to CPAP that works inside your body while you sleep. It’s a small device placed during a same-day, outpatient procedure.

Make an Appointment for an Evaluation

In order to receive a sleep study, patients must first be evaluated by one of our trained sleep providers. At your initial appointment, they’ll perform an evaluation, and then a sleep study will be ordered. Contact the location of your choice to make your first appointment.
