Jenny Tomson, FNP-C, ACHPN

Jenny Tomson, FNP-C, ACHPN, provides specialized palliative care for people living with serious or life-limiting illnesses through Singing River Supportive Care Services. She holds the Advanced Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse (ACHPN) designation which recognizes her expert-level skill in relieving symptoms, guiding complex decisions, and improving quality of life for her patients. 

Jenny has spent more than two decades caring for patients across many clinical settings, including intensive care, emergency medicine, medical-surgical care, behavioral health, oncology, and supportive care. Her broad background gives her a deep understanding of the progression of serious illnesses as well as the challenges patients and families face attempting to manage these complex conditions.  

Before joining Singing River, Jenny provided inpatient and in-home palliative care, consulting with patients and their families to help manage their symptoms and support their ongoing care. She is skilled at identifying changes early, adjusting medications safely, and helping patients understand the likely path of their illness.  

At Singing River Supportive Care Services, her daily work focuses on helping patients achieve comfort at every stage of illness—easing pain, breathlessness, nausea, anxiety, and other symptoms.
