John McKee III, MD

Biography
Dr. McKee is a Board Certified Gastroenterologist and Internist on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. With nearly 30 years of experience in providing digestive health care, he currently practices at Digestive Health Center PA and performs procedures at Singing River Health System.
Dr. McKee received his Bachelor’s Degree from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. He completed his Internship in Internal Medicine, as well as Residency and Fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of Florida’s Health Science Center. He also completed a Fellowship in Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy at Beth Israel-Deaconess Medical Center at Harvard Medical School.
He has served as a faculty member for The Mississippi State Gastroenterology Society in Jackson, Mississippi, Crescent City Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy at LSU, and Moderation in Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy Course at Tulane University, and Harvard Medic al School.
Dr. McKee is the recipient of The Fellow American Board of Physicians Award, First Prize for Excellence in Wellness for developing first Optimal Health Community in the USA, and First Prize for a scientific presentation at New England Endoscopy Society.
Professionally, he is a member of The Fellow American Gastroenterology Association, American Society for gastrointestinal Endoscopy, American Medical Association. and The University of Florida’s College of Medicine Alumni Association.
Dr. McKee is devoted to family life. He is married to Dr. Shaun McKee, a Neurodiagnostic Radiologist. They are proud parents of two children, John “Jack” McKee, IV, and Christian McKee. They reside in Ocean Springs, MS.
