Emma Benoit’s Journey of Hope and Healing

March 11 | 6:00 pm 7:00 pm

Emma Benoit became deeply passionate about suicide prevention after surviving a suicide attempt in 2017, the summer before her senior year of high school. At the time, she was a popular varsity cheerleader with a supportive family and many friends. However, on the inside, she was struggling with depression and anxiety and had never shared her feelings with anyone.

Her attempt resulted in a spinal cord injury that left her paralyzed but ultimately led her to find faith and purpose. This experience propelled her on a mission to use her painful journey and miraculous recovery to help others.

At the conclusion of each program, Emma will be available to speak individually with students ages 12+.

Due to forecasted severe cold weather conditions, Emma Benoit’s Journey of Hope and Healing, originally scheduled for Tuesday, January 21 at Pascagoula High School Performing Arts Center, has been rescheduled for Tuesday, March 11.
