Emma Benoit’s Journey of Hope and Healing
January 21 | 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm
Emma Benoit became deeply passionate about suicide prevention after surviving a suicide attempt in 2017, the summer before her senior year of high school. At the time, she was a popular varsity cheerleader with a supportive family and many friends. However, on the inside, she was struggling with depression and anxiety and had never shared her feelings with anyone.
Her attempt resulted in a spinal cord injury that left her paralyzed but ultimately led her to find faith and purpose. This experience propelled her on a mission to use her painful journey and miraculous recovery to help others.
At the conclusion of each program, Emma will be available to speak one-on-one with students ages 12+.
