Joshua Rifkind, MD

Biography
Joshua Rifkind, MD, is a hematologist-oncologist who is board certified in medical oncology and brings nearly 20 years of experience treating patients with cancer and blood disorders. He cares for patients at Singing River Cancer Center in Pascagoula.
Dr. Rifkind earned his medical degree from the Sackler School of Medicine in Tel Aviv, Israel. He completed his internal medicine residency at Baystate Medical Center–Tufts University in Springfield, Massachusetts, followed by specialized fellowship training in hematology and oncology at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire.
In addition to caring for patients, Dr. Rifkind has played an active role in advancing cancer treatment. He has helped lead thirteen clinical trials focused on testing new therapies and improving treatment options for patients with a variety of cancers.
Dr. Rifkind is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Society of Hematology, and the American Medical Association.
