Biography

Juan Daniel Del Cid Fratti, MD, MS, is a structural and interventional cardiologist who provides advanced cardiovascular care for patients with complex heart conditions. He sees patients and performs interventional cardiac procedures Singing River. His clinical interests include structural heart disease, cardiac catheterization, coronary interventions (PCI), valve disease, cardiogenic shock, and general cardiology care. He is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease.

Dr. Fratti earned his medical degree from Universidad de San Carlos in Guatemala and a Master of Science in Clinical Research from Rush University in Chicago. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at John H. Stroger Hospital of Cook County, followed by a Cardiovascular Disease fellowship at the University of Illinois at Peoria. He went on to complete advanced training in Interventional Cardiology at the University of Washington and Structural Cardiology at Emory University.

During fellowship, he served as Chief Fellow and was recognized for his work in quality improvement initiatives to improve cardiac care processes.

Dr. Fratti is a member of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions, the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, the American Society of Echocardiography, and the American Medical Association. His honors include the Chief Fellow Award in General Cardiology, a Quality Improvement Award for reducing false STEMI activations, and awards recognizing his medical knowledge and humanitarian skills during residency.
