Biography
Nicole Walton, DO, is a board-certified rheumatologist providing care for patients at Singing River Rheumatology Services in Ocean Springs and Pascagoula. She specializes in diagnosing and treating autoimmune and inflammatory diseases that can affect the joints, muscles, bones, and internal organs. Dr. Walton works with patients to manage these often-complex conditions, reduce symptoms, maintain mobility, and improve their quality of life.
Dr. Walton earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed a three-year Internal Medicine residency at the Medical College of Georgia, followed by an additional year serving as Chief Medical Resident.
She then completed a two-year Rheumatology fellowship at Wake Forest Baptist Health in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, before joining Singing River Health System in 2013.
