Singing River Health System Employees Receive Ambassadorship Awards
Singing River Health System has recognized Mary Panni and Steve Brill with the 2016 Marketing Ambassadorship Award for Second Quarter. Singing River Health System created this award to periodically recognize employees who go the extra mile to represent and promote Singing River Health System and its mission with their heat and soul.
Singing River Hospital has honored Mary Panni, Registered Nurse for the Comprehensive Rehabilitation Center.
Mary is a lifetime resident of Pascagoula, MS. She received her nursing degree from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College and is currently working on her BSN. Mary joined Sining River Health System in 2012 and now works in Pediatrics.
“I love working at Singing River Health System because it allows for so much room for growth,” said Panni. “The health system family truly has a heart for service, which is my heart’s desire. It helps channel our passions into life-changing opportunities for both myself and the patients we serve. I am honored to be an employee of a system that is making such a positive impact on our community.”
“Mary’s can do attitude and enthusiasm are priceless,” said Lori Weimer, Patient Care Manager, Women’s and Children’s Services at Singing River Hospital. “Every day in Pediatrics with Dr. Sexton is exciting, and Mary makes it all look easy and effortless. She builds rapport with all of her patients and their families, spending time meeting their needs even beyond the scheduled hours. We are very proud to have Mary on our team.”
Ocean Springs Hospital has honored Steve Brill, Facilities Support Manager.
After graduating from high school at Ariton High School in Alabama, Steve attended Bishop State where he studied Electrical Technology. Steve joined Singing River Health System in 1995 and current servers as System Manager for Facility Support at Ocean Springs Hospital.
“I love the family-like atmosphere we have at Singing River Health System,” said Brill. “In Facilities Services, we get to go to all different areas of the health system, and really enjoy that.”
“Steve is someone who is proud of Singing River Health System and the difference it makes in the lives of the people in our community,” said Randall Cobb, Director of Facilities Services, Singing River Health System. “He has a service-above-self work ethic and has earned the respect of many fellow employees throughout the health system. Because of Steve’s leadership attributes, working with a quality facilities support team, we have an excellent situation.”
