Newborns Raise Awareness with American Heart Association’s “Little Hats, Big Hearts” Program
Singing River Health System is participating in the American Heart Association’s “Little Hats, Big Hearts” program, which raises awareness of heart disease – the #1 killer of Americans, along with the most common type of birth defects – congenital heart.
Volunteers for the American Heart Association knitted and crocheted red hats for all babies born at Singing River Hospital and Ocean Springs Hospital in February.
