Look Back: Hospice of Light Opens March 1, 1994

Hospice of Light accepted their first patient on Tuesday, March 1, 1994. That week, The Sun Herald newspaper reported on Hospice of Light’s launch by publishing the following story. Thirty years later, Hospice of Light’s mission remains the same, but its services and footprint have expanded.

Today, the Hospice of Light team provides expert respite and end-of-life care in homes and healthcare facilities across much of south Mississippi.
