Biography
Dr. Nathan Patrick, MD, a board certified, fellowship trained orthopaedic surgeon, specializes in hand and upper extremity surgery. He has expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of all injuries, conditions, and disorders of the entire upper extremity, including both operative and non-operative modalities, for patients of all ages.
Dr. Patrick graduated from the University of Toledo with the highest honors, summa cum laude. His motivation and enthusiasm for medicine allowed him early acceptance into medical school at the University of Toledo, an accolade reserved for only a select few candidates.
Dr. Patrick completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Penn State University, where he was chosen to serve as the Academic Chief during his final year of training. Following residency, he then went on to complete two additional years of fellowship training in hand and upper extremity surgery at both the University of Pittsburgh and the University of Rochester- training under renowned surgeons.
Dr. Patrick has been involved with numerous research projects and new developments in hand and upper extremity surgery. He has authored numerous journal articles, book chapters, and poster presentations and is a regular presenter at many hand and wrist surgery meetings and courses.
