Biography
Hristo Shivarov, MD, trained as a nephrologist in both Bulgaria and the United States. Dr. Shivarov graduated from the Medical University of Sofia, Bulgaria where he completed his residency and a fellowship in Nephrology.
Dr. Shivarov worked as a nephrologist in his country for several years before moving to the United States with his family. He completed a second residency at Lincoln Medical Center, New York and fellowship at Lenox Hill Hospital, New York before joining Kidney Disease & Hypertension Centers, P.A., in September 2019.
Dr. Shivarov sees patients at both KDHC locations, with Ocean Springs serving as his main office. He manages the care of dialysis patients at DaVita Ocean Springs and DaVita Gulf Islands in D’Iberville.
