At Singing River Interventional Pain Management, we offer a variety of services to help treat pain. These treatments are designed to provide relief, improve your ability to move, and help you live a more comfortable life. If you are living with chronic pain, have your provider make a referral.

Our Interventional Pain Services and Procedures

Joint and Soft Tissue Injections

These are injections given into areas like your muscles, tendons, or joints to reduce pain and swelling. This can help with conditions like tendinitis, bursitis, or arthritis.

Joint Fluid Removal and Injections

Sometimes, joints can fill up with extra fluid, which can cause pain. We can remove this fluid (aspiration) and inject medicine into the joint to help reduce inflammation and pain.

Spinal Injections and Treatments

If you have back or neck pain, we can use injections to help reduce inflammation and relieve pressure on your nerves. These treatments can help with conditions like herniated discs, sciatica, and other spinal problems.

Epidural Steroid Injections

Steroid injections are given into the epidural space of your spine (the area around your spinal cord) to help treat inflammation, reduce pain, and improve movement. This is often used for conditions like sciatica or herniated discs.

Nerve Blocks and Nerve Ablation

If pain is coming from a specific nerve, our doctor can use injections to block the nerve or even destroy it (ablation) to stop the pain. This is often used for neck, back, or joint pain that doesn’t respond to other treatments.

Spinal Pain Pumps

For severe pain that can’t be managed with oral medications, a small pump is placed near your spine. This pump delivers pain medication directly into your spinal fluid, providing relief when other treatments haven’t worked.

Radiofrequency Ablation (Heat Therapy for Nerves)

This procedure uses heat to destroy nerves that are sending pain signals. It’s often used to treat back, neck, and joint pain.

Diagnostic Nerve and Spinal Studies

Sometimes, to better understand your pain, we may need to check how well your nerves and spine are working. This involves special tests that can help pinpoint the exact source of your pain. These tests include nerve conduction studies and x-rays.

Spinal Fracture Treatment (Vertebroplasty and Kyphoplasty)

If you have a spinal fracture, often due to osteoporosis (bone thinning), these treatments involve injecting special cement into your vertebrae to stabilize the bone and reduce pain.

If you are dealing with chronic pain, whether it’s in your back, neck, joints, or from nerve issues, our interventional pain physician has many effective treatments available to help you feel better. From injections and nerve blocks to spinal pumps and heat therapy, these procedures can provide long-term relief and improve your quality of life.
