Biography
Dr. April Ulmer, also known as “The Tummy Dr.,” is a board-certified pediatric gastroenterologist at Singing River Kids and Tummies in Gulfport and Ocean Springs. A native Mississippian, Dr. Ulmer received her medical training at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine and completed postgraduate training at prestigious medical centers along the East Coast, in cities including Washington, D.C., Danville, Pennsylvania, and Buffalo, New York, before ultimately returning to Mississippi to practice.
In addition to being a dedicated physician, she is a loving and committed wife and mother to her two daughters. Dr. Ulmer describes herself as a physician who practices the art of clinical medicine with a common-sense approach. She strives every day to treat each child and family as unique, caring for and nurturing the whole child.
