Biography
Magdy Mikhail, MD, is a primary care provider with over 30 years of experience caring for patients, including more than two decades on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. He is board certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Originally from Egypt, he earned his medical degree at Ain Shams University in Cairo in 1986 and went on to complete a master’s degree in clinical anesthesiology and critical care. After moving to the United States, he trained in internal medicine at Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburgh and spent almost ten years there treating patients in the emergency room, in the hospital, and in primary care.
Today, Dr. Mikhail provides routine health exams and screenings as well as long-term care for chronic conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and heart disease. He has a particular interest in preventive medicine and in helping older adults manage their unique health needs.
In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and cheering on Pittsburgh sports teams.
