Biography
Ms. Rawdon has 30+ years of experience providing mental health care in hospital and outpatient settings. She worked extensively with the STAR (Substance Treatment and Recovery) program through the Veterans Administration. She is highly skilled in couples counseling and working with trauma survivors. She received her degree from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa.
She was trained in DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) by its founder, Marsha Linehan. Ms. Rawdon worked in our area after Katrina by helping to bring much needed mental health services to the citizens of both Mississippi and Louisiana. She is proud to be part of the Singing River team.
