Dr. Scott Laura, an accomplished interventional cardiologist at Singing River Cardiology in Ocean Springs and Pascagoula, brings a wealth of expertise and dedication to his patients. His extensive education and training ensure that he provides the highest level of care in cardiology. Dr. Laura’s journey in medicine began with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Louisiana Tech University, which laid a solid foundation for his future medical career. He then earned his M.D. from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, followed by rigorous training in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, and Interventional Cardiology at the same institution, culminating in 2019.

Dr. Laura takes a special interest in the diagnosis and treatment of Peripheral Artery Disease, in which narrowed arteries reduce blood flow to the arms or legs. Symptoms may manifest as numbness or pain in the legs and can be dangerous if left undiagnosed and untreated.

Dr. Laura’s comprehensive education is complemented by his board certifications in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Interventional Cardiology.
