Biography
Dr. Tana K. Cooper is a Family & Occupational Medicine physician for Singing River Health System and is located at the Cedar Lake Medical Clinic.
She completed a Family Medicine and Neuromuscular Medicine Residency at Beaumont Hospital Farmington Hills, where she served as Chief Resident.
She treats all primary care conditions in patients 5 years and older with special interests in Dermatology, Women’s Health, Wound Care and Occupational Medicine.
She is an Associate Professor at William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine and was awarded Preceptor of the Year in 2019. She was also recently named Physician of the Year by Medcentris Wound Healing Institute.
She has been practicing on the Gulf Coast for 12 years. She is an avid tennis player and loves to be outdoors. She is married and a mom to five rescue retrievers.
