Biography
Dr. David McClendon was born in Newton, Miss., and graduated from the Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science in Columbus, Miss. He received his undergraduate degree from Mississippi College and attended the University of Mississippi School of Medicine, where he also completed his residency in Internal Medicine. Dr. McClendon joined Singing River Health Systems as a hospital based physician and later served Merit Health Biloxi as Director of Hospital Physicians, before opening McClendon Medical in Ocean Springs 2016. The clinic soon expanded to include an office in Pascagoula and now serves patients in both locations.
Dr. McClendon is married to Nicole Scardina formerly of Baton Rouge and they have four children: Nicholas, Miya, Lola Kate, and Stella Reese. They are active members of First Presbyterian Church of Ocean Springs, where he serves as an Elder.
