Butterfly Memorial Service

Hospice of Light is holding two Butterfly Memorial Services in 2026. If you have lost a loved one, please join us for this event of remembrance.

Hospice of Light invites the community to its third annual Butterfly Release Ceremony. The ceremony is a heartfelt tribute honoring the lives of loved ones who have passed. The event includes a reading of names, music, spiritual reflections, and the symbolic release of butterflies. We encourage participants to bring a framed photo of their loved one.

The butterfly release is a cherished tradition that offers families a meaningful way to remember those they have lost. Open to the community, the ceremony provides comfort, connection, and celebration of life. Each butterfly released represents a unique story and enduring love.
