Biography
Dr. Simpler is a board certified general surgeon with specialty training in complex incisional hernia repair and robotic hernia repair (the surgeon places a tiny camera and uses small instruments).
Dr. Simpler attended medical school at The University of South Alabama School of Medicine in Mobile, AL and completed his residency at Baptist Health Systems in Birmingham, AL. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the American Medical Association, the American Hernia Society and the Laparoendoscopic surgeons.
Dr. Simpler has vast training and experience in Wound Care, robotic hernia repair, and colon surgery and serves as Medical Director of Singing River Ocean Springs Wound Care Center.
