Orthopedic Surgeon

Biography

Philip Myers, MD, is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in orthopedic trauma, sports medicine, and joint replacement. He provides comprehensive care for fractures, sports injuries, shoulder and elbow conditions, hand and wrist disorders, foot and ankle injuries, and other orthopedic concerns.

Dr. Myers completed advanced fellowship training in Orthopedic Trauma at Grant Medical Center, a Level I trauma center in Columbus, Ohio, where he gained extensive experience treating complex fractures and traumatic injuries. He is dual subspecialty certified in Orthopedic Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Traumatology and brings specialized training in hand surgery, allowing him to care for a wide range of hand and upper extremity conditions.

Dr. Myers is the only orthopedic surgeon on the Mississippi Gulf Coast offering minimally invasive anterior total hip replacement. This muscle-sparing approach may allow appropriate patients to experience less postoperative pain, a shorter recovery period, and a faster return to daily activities following hip replacement surgery.
