Biography
Cornelia “Neal” Tisher McDonald, MD, received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology at the University of Mississippi before completing her Medical Degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine. Dr. McDonald finished her residency in Emergency Medicine at UAB as well earlier this year.
As a former collegiate athlete, Dr. McDonald is passionate about volunteering and has dedicated countless hours offering free sports physicals to local schools. When she is not saving lives in the ER, Dr. McDonald enjoys fishing, gardening, taking her dog jogging, and traveling with her husband.
