Biography
Audrey Murphy, MD, is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist with Gulf Coast OB/GYN. She provides care for women during pregnancy and childbirth, as well as gynecologic care for a range of conditions. Dr. Murphy delivers babies and performs surgical procedures at Pascagoula Hospital.
Her clinical interests include high-risk pregnancy care, hysteroscopy, endometrial ablation, dilation and curettage (D&C), laparoscopy, circumcision, and minimally invasive da Vinci robotic surgery. She takes a thoughtful, evidence-based approach to care and works closely with patients to help them understand their options and make informed decisions about their health.
Dr. Murphy earned her medical degree from the University of South Alabama in Mobile, where she also completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She previously attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham and Wallace Community College in Dothan.
Outside of work, Dr. Murphy enjoys traveling, biking, and spending time with her family.
