Biography
Brad Greenfield, MD, a board-certified Radiation Oncologist, has served as the Medical Director of Radiation Oncology at Singing River Health System since 2017.
He was Chief Resident at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX and completed all his clinical and research training at prestigious institutions including MD Anderson Cancer Center, Smith Clinic Harris Health System, Michel E. DeBakey VA Medical Center, Ben Taub Hospital, and Baylor St. Lukes Medical Center. This comprehensive training has equipped him with expertise in state-of-the-art practices such as volumetric modulated arc therapy, high-dose rate brachytherapy, stereotactic ablative radiotherapy, and stereotactic radiosurgery.
Dr. Greenfield has spearheaded the development of Singing River Health System’s radiation oncology program. His efforts have focused on integrating advanced technology and treatment principles, including respiratory gating, daily image-guided radiation therapy, adaptive radiation therapy, prostate cancer hydrogel spacer implantation, and the deep inspiration breath hold technique for breast cancer.
Specializing in both definitive and palliative treatments, Dr. Greenfield addresses a wide range of cancer sites, including breast, prostate, head and neck, lung, esophageal, rectal, anal, cervical, uterine, sarcoma, lymphoma, skin, bone, and brain cancers.
