Biography
Dr. Johnson completed his medical degree at the University of Oklahoma, and a Cardiovascular Surgery Fellowship at Harvard Medical School. He practiced for fourteen years in Boston, affiliated with Beth Israel Hospital, New England Deaconess Hospital, and Massachusetts General Hospital, ultimately serving as the Divisional Chief of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Beth Israel-Deaconess Medical Center.
Dr Johnson came to Singing River Health System in 2011 from from St. Louis University/Tenet Hospital, where he has spent 12 years as the Chief of Surgery. Dr. Johnson is board certified in thoracic surgery.
