Are You Expecting? Take a Free Class at Singing River

Both our Childbirth classes and Breastfeeding classes are FREE, but registration is required. We recommend parents plan to attend these classes in or around the 7th month of pregnancy.

Childbirth Classes

During childbirth classes, you’ll learn about the stages of labor, delivery, and recovery along with the different types of anesthesia available.

You will also learn about your newborn’s appearance, general newborn care, and safe sleep practices. Classes located at Ocean Springs and Pascagoula Hospitals will conclude with a tour of the Labor and Delivery area.

Breastfeeding Classes

Breastfeeding is a great option for mothers and babies, but it’s not always easy. Get a head start with this course where you’ll discover and discuss breastfeeding basics, from what to expect to how to breastfeed your baby.
