Are You Expecting? Take a Free Class at Singing River
Our Childbirth Breastfeeding classes are FREE, but registration is required. We recommend parents plan to attend these classes in or around the 7th month of pregnancy.
During the childbirth portion of class, you’ll learn about the stages of labor, delivery, and recovery along with the different types of anesthesia available. You will also learn about your newborn’s appearance, general newborn care, and safe sleep practices.
Breastfeeding is a great option for mothers and babies, but it’s not always easy. During the breastfeeding portion, you’ll discover and discuss breastfeeding basics, from what to expect to how to breastfeed your baby.
Class concludes with a tour of the Labor and Delivery area.
