Pascagoula Hospital has been recognized by the American Heart Association Get With The Guidelines® – Coronary Artery Disease registry for its commitment to offering rapid, research-based care to people experiencing NSTEMI heart attacks.

Our TARGET: Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll awards recognize our ability to ensure that patients with Type 2 diabetes, who might be at higher risk of complications, receive the most up-to-date, evidence-based care when hospitalized due to heart attack.

A non-ST elevation myocardial infarction, or NSTEMI, is caused by a partial blockage of blood flow to the heart. In the event of an NSTEMI heart attack, Singing River Gulfport’s adherence to AHA guidelines is critical in providing our patients evidence-based care and the best chance of preventing another heart attack.
