Free Mammograms & Pap Smears at Singing River Cancer Center
Don’t have health insurance coverage for routine screenings? Singing River Cancer Center is offering free breast and cervical cancer screenings for qualifying patients through the Mississippi Breast and Cervical Cancer Program (BCCP).
Services Offered
Breast Cancer
- Mammograms for all patients ages 40-64
- Diagnostic mammogram, ultrasound, and breast biopsies, if indicated
Cervical Cancer
- Pap smear exams for patients ages 21-64
- Follow-up cervical biopsies, if indicated
How to Qualify for the Program
Patients must meet specific guidelines in order to qualify for BCCP:
- Uninsured or underinsured (excludes Medicare or Medicaid healthcare participants)
- Resident of Mississippi for at least 12 consecutive months (proof of residency required)
- Household income must be at or below 250% of the Federal Poverty Level (proof of household income required)
- Social security numbers are not required for enrollment

Maximum Allowable Gross Income
You must be at or below the following income amounts—250% of the Federal Poverty Level—to be eligible for the program.
