Brave and Beautiful is a free program offered at Singing River Cancer Center that helps women with appearance side effects of cancer treatment.
Fighting cancer is about more than medicine. Singing River Cancer Center works to help provide women an essential tool in their treatment.
About the Brave and Beautiful Program
Brave and Beautiful Workshops
Brave and beautiful workshops are led by professional makeup artists. During the workshop, they provide instruction in:
- Skin care
- Skin changes during treatment
- Makeup application
- Nail Care
- Head Coverings
- Wig styling
Participants each receive a complimentary makeup tool kit filled with cosmetics, moisturizers, and more.

Workshops include instruction in skincare and makeup application; a complimentary makeup tool kit filled with donated products; practical tips and instruction on wigs, head coverings, and nail care.
Eligibility
The program is open to all women with cancer who are undergoing chemotherapy, radiation, or other forms of cancer treatment.
